Womxnist Liberation Cooperative (WLC) seeks to address the growing need for economic sustainability for Black women and femmes who have been pushed out of traditional workplaces due to racism, sexism/cissexism, and capitalism. This multi-stakeholder freelancer's co-op offers members an alternative set of services and resources for Black women and femmes looking to sustainably work for themselves on behalf of community. The workplace we expect to create allows for more agency, interdependence, and access to the infrastructure to demand a thriving wage for themselves and their families.
